Letting Go

At some point we have to stop being positive in the belief that its possible to cure someone by our will, and to stop encouraging them to be positive in the hope that they might cure themselves. At some point we have to give in to the grand plan and allow that this person is at the end of their life and that they are going to die. We have to let go and allow them to let go. And then, at some point further on, after their death, we have to let go of the grieving, to stop feeling sorrow for their death and starting feeling joy for their life; the beauty they brought to the world in the things they gave, the time they shared and for their love, especially for their love. And maybe, in some way, its up to us to provide to the world what they no longer can, to be a little bit of them.
