I believe that the human mind is a unity and that we are all part of the same consciousness. Despite this we are inclined to experience life through our egos, as individuals. And yet there is a commonality of experience, things we all have to deal with, life, love, death, joy and sorrow, in all their manifestations. In my work I try to create stories or songs that recount experiences, situations and memories that have moved me in some way. I do this to share common experience in the hope that the viewer might gain from the seeing, in the same way that I gain from the painting.I have offered some further information with selected works though I should add that I have articulated this information because I can and not because I feel that it plays any essential part in the work. The most important aspects of the works to you the viewer are those that you the viewer see.
