What.

Once you have a domain and a server to host your site it’s time to get that web site happening.

A web site is a series of files, or pages, that contains images, text and even sound or movies.

How.

A web site is created using web design software. Microsoft products such as Word and Front Page are installed on most PCs today and can produce web pages. This software however is limited in the look and feel it can produce from the ordinary user, but it is a start. You will find all the info you need in the help files and, of course, on the internet.

The process of web site building can be a bit confusing at first and it is not the intention to go into the details here, but many people build and run their own sites with varying degrees of success.
